New retail experience for MCM goes Live!

01 June 2008

"The new light and luxurious, contemporary look and feel Bray Leino has designed and fitted at our flagship London store reflects beautifully the new direction and vision we have for the MCM brand globally." So says Martin Mason, Managing Director of MCM Worldwide.

The new store in Sloane Square is a flagship for the global luxury leather fashion accessories brand, which has stores all over the world from New York to Beijing.

John Courtney of Bray Leino says:  "Our brief was to take MCM's established corporate styling and interpret it to suit the Sloane Street building's location and layout.  This meant a few crucial changes to the standard designs to make them work in the context of the store, including changing the furniture from black to white.   We worked very closely with the MCM teams in both London and Seoul to create the more feminine, sophisticated designs.

"Bray Leino also worked  alongside leading interior designer  Kelly Hoppen to craft a luxury boudoir feel for the basement of the two-floor shop. As well as creating the concept for the store, Bray Leino designed and manufactured all the furniture ahead of the four-week installation.
